Job summary

IHOP is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee front- and back-of-house operations, driving profitability and ensuring IHOP standards of quality and service. You will lead staff, handle guest concerns, and manage recruitment and training while maintaining food safety and security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; write routine reports.
• Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and HR objectives per IHOP SOP and operations plan.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with hourly employees and the franchisee.
• Manage restaurant floor with regular guest contact.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly; maintain complaint frequency.
• Ensure recruitment, training, operations, food safety, sanitation, and security comply with SOPs.
• Carry out supervisory duties: recruitment, training, directing workflow, appraising performance, and resolving issues.
• Complete all required reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain personnel files with employment documents.
• Be available to work days, nights and weekends.
