Job summary

IHOP in Colorado is seeking a Restaurant Manager who will report to the General Manager and supervise restaurant staff. You will oversee front and back-of-house operations with a strong focus on profitability and sales growth while upholding IHOP's quality and service standards.

Your responsibilities include executing financial and local marketing objectives, maintaining guest satisfaction, recruiting and training staff, and ensuring food safety and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for the restaurant as defined by IHOP SOP and operations plan.
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with restaurant hourly employees and the franchisee organization.
• Managing the restaurant floor with regular guest contact and handling guest complaints professionally and timely.
• Ensuring recruitment, training, operations, food preparation, food safety and sanitation, and security practices comply with SOP.
• Carrying out supervisory duties such as recruitment, training, directing workflow, performance appraisal and discipline.
• Completing required reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
