Job summary

Portillo’s in Arlington, TX is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise shifts, coach staff, and ensure safety and sanitation standards while managing scheduling, inventory, and daily operations.

The role requires 1–3 years of managerial experience in a busy restaurant, with strong leadership and English communication. Flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and benefits are offered as part of our team culture.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Restaurant Management in a high-volume, fast-paced setting preferred.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, recruiting, scheduling, food planning/preparation, sanitation, food quality, and security.
• Aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level.
• Understanding of P&L and restaurant operations.
• Must pass sanitation and responsible alcohol vending certifications.
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency.
• Willingness to work 50+ hour weeks, rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and model operational standards to deliver great guest experiences.
• Motivate and manage team members; coach for excellence and recognition.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations; train staff.
• Plan scheduling, labor, inventory, and daily routines; open/close restaurant.
• Drive cash handling, budgeting, and critical business decisions.
