Job summary

Portillo’s is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting. You’ll coach, schedule, and manage shifts while upholding food safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a focus on coaching for continuous improvement. Candidates should have 1–3 years of management in a busy restaurant, and be able to work 50+ hours with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Model operational standards and execute critical behaviors to run great shifts.
• Motivate and manage team members to provide hospitality at the highest level.
• Lead with coaching to achieve excellence and engagement.
• Oversee shift planning, scheduling, and daily routines including opening/closing.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance across the restaurant.
• Train team on operations and guest experience delivery.
• Drive inventory, budget, and labor decisions to support business results.
