Job summary

Portillo’s is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, delivering memorable guest experiences and top-notch hospitality. You will coach staff, manage shifts, and ensure sanitation and safety compliance while guiding daily operations and financial decisions.

The role requires 1–3 years of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to work 50+ hours with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Must read, speak, and understand English to communicate with team members and guests.
• Must pass required sanitation and responsible alcohol vending courses.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and manage team members to provide the highest level of hospitality.

• Open and close the restaurant and manage cash handling.
• Plan for inventory, budget, and labor decisions.
