Job summary

IHOP Westminster is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee front- and back-of-house operations with a strong emphasis on profitability and guest satisfaction. You will supervise employees, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive sales growth while maintaining IHOP's brand and service excellence.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage daily operations, guest relations, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and HR objectives per IHOP SOP and operations plan.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with restaurant hourly employees and the franchisee organization.
• Manage restaurant floor with regular guest contact; handle complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure recruitment, training, operations, food safety, sanitation, and security comply with SOPs.
• Fulfill supervisory duties: recruitment, training, directing workflow, performance appraisals, rewards, discipline, and resolving issues.
• Complete required reports and paperwork; maintain personnel files with appropriate documents.
• Be available to work days, nights, and weekends.
