Job summary

Nando’s North America is hiring a Restaurant Manager to lead in-restaurant operations with a focus on safety, hospitality, and performance. You will supervise shifts, coach teams, uphold brand standards, and protect the guest experience across all service moments.

You will recruit, onboard, and develop staff, manage inventory and quality, and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines while striving to drive sustainable sales and strong guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of restaurant management experience in fast casual, QSR, or full service.
• Ability to lead full shifts, including deployment, breaks, and peak-time operations.
• Proven ability to deliver KPIs (sales, labor, food quality, audits, speed).
• Experience hiring, onboarding, and training team members.
• Inventory management, ordering, and prep; maintain food safety routines.
• Conflict resolution and guest issue handling with a service mindset.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, health department, and brand standards.
• Track record of developing team members into new roles or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and develop staff; signoffs; cross-training and buddy system.
• Manage people processes; ER basics; ensure documentation is complete.
• Ensure wellbeing and safety; monitor energy, breaks, and conflict de-escalation.
• Protect brand standards; ensure consistent hospitality and guest experience.
• Drive sales and optimize labor; deploy staff to meet targets; monitor dashboards.
• Oversee operations: food safety, stock, cleanliness, logs, and issue handling.
