Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking an Operations Technology Person (OTP) to repair and maintain the technology equipment across our restaurant locations. The role requires troubleshooting POS systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and supporting new technologies and initiatives.

Availability for late-evening or early-morning work is expected, with on-site or remote troubleshooting as needed. Must be 18+, have reliable transportation, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Repair and maintain the technology equipment in McDonald's restaurants.
• Troubleshoot POS technology issues as they arise.
• Set up new hire accounts and reset passwords as needed.
• Flexible availability for evening/early morning upgrades.
• Must be 18+ to apply and have transportation.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain in-restaurant technology equipment across locations.
• Troubleshoot POS and related technology issues to restore functionality.
• Install self-service and OS upgrades as directed.
• Provide resources, tools, and support for new technologies and initiatives.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for optimal performance and cable management.
• Communicate issues, outcomes, needs, and costs weekly.
• Troubleshoot on-site or over the phone as required.
