Job summary

Taco Bell Corp. is seeking a Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to lead a single Taco Bell unit with focus on making it clean, hospitable, accurate, and fast while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The RGM will train staff, oversee hiring and performance appraisals, manage costs, and ensure compliance with laws and internal guidelines, driving guest satisfaction and sales growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cost categories including food cost, labor cost, cash and controllable expenses are controlled to guidelines and budgeted levels.
• Maintain the restaurant cleanliness and organization, following all food service sanitation guidelines and regulations.
• Prepares and conducts crew member, shift manager, and assistant general manager performance appraisals.
• Performs hiring for new crew members, shift leaders, and assistant general managers.
• Coaches and counsels staff to achieve certification and performance levels.
• Ensures excellent levels of guest service on all shifts and handles guest complaints to foster repeat business.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
