IHOP in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a General Manager to direct the operation of an assigned unit and drive guest satisfaction. You will build relationships with guests and team members, lead training initiatives, and ensure financial, marketing, and HR objectives align with SOPs and local plans.

The role focuses on guest relations, staff coaching, food safety, and regulatory compliance, with accountability for performance, scheduling, and maintaining standards across service and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and the guest experience.
• Execute annual financial, local restaurants marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned unit as defined by SOPs.
• Manage the restaurant floor and focus on regular contact with guests and handle complaints professionally and timely.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the unit.
• Recruit, train and retain employees; conduct ongoing coaching and administer compensation; ensure performance appraisals are given as scheduled.
• Ensure food compliance with SOP in specifications, recipes, plating, and garnishes; maintain presentation and temperatures.
• Order and manage inventory; keep pars; minimize stockouts and excess.
