Yoshinoya America, Inc. is seeking a skilled shift supervisor for our California location. You will participate daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations while supervising and directing a team to deliver fast, friendly service.

You will train staff, monitor performance, manage schedules and labor costs, and ensure safety and quality standards. Travel up to 50% to other stores, with quarterly meetings at the district and corporate offices.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years restaurant experience, preferably in QSR or Fast Casual.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies and operating/maintenance instructions.
• Prepare routine reports
• Speak effectively to customers
• Follow company procedures
• Interact with customers and coworkers

• Oversee daily food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering, and guest relations while supervising and directing others.
• Back up to team members and cover breaks as needed.
• Ensure food and beverages meet Yoshinoya specifications and safety standards.
• Train staff and monitor activities, providing feedback and recognition.
• Manage crew schedules and labor costs.
• Handle cash procedures and banking within policy.
• Maintain clean and safe kitchen environments and equipment.
• Recruit, interview, and train new crewmembers.
