Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations while supervising and directing others.
• Backs up team members and covers breaks as needed.
• Ensures food and beverages meet Yoshinoya specs and safety requirements.
• Trains staff and monitors activities, providing feedback.
• Conducts performance reviews with the District Manager.
• Issues disciplinary notices to employees as necessary.
• Orders food and supplies and rotates stock using FIFO.
• Conducts weekly and monthly inventory.
• Manages crew schedules and labor costs.
• Enforces cash handling procedures.
• Keeps the restaurant clean and equipment functioning; places maintenance orders.
• Enforces safety policies and conducts monthly safety meetings.
• Recruits, interviews and trains new crewmembers.
• Communicates with crew, District Manager and corporate office.
• Attends quarterly corporate meetings and district meetings.
• Travels to the bank for change; may travel to other stores.
