Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as General Manager in food-service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Pass and maintain Food Safety Certification; meet state requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• Open availability and capability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop shop team members.
• Interview, hire, and build a strong team aligned with Potbelly values.
• Schedule Associates, Trainers, and Shift Leaders effectively.
• Lead local shop marketing and neighborhood outreach.
• Ensure cash handling, security, and health standards.
• Drive sales through promotions and community involvement.
• Maintain P&L control and labor goals; manage budgets.
