Potbelly Sandwich Works is hiring a General Manager in Texas. The role leads the shop, drives sales, oversees P&L, and builds a strong team culture. Competitive base salary $60,000–$65,000 with bonus potential, plus comprehensive health, retirement, and commuter benefits.

Flexible, fast-paced environment with growth opportunities. Applicants must be 18+, have 2+ years GM experience, food-safety certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a General Manager in a restaurant or retail with P&L responsibility preferred.
• Must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and train teams.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop shop team members to realize potential.
• Interview, select and hire great people who represent Potbelly values.
• Lead local shop marketing to increase sales and community involvement.
• Manage P&L items and ensure optimal labor, food costs, and promotions.
