Potbelly Corporate in Dublin, OH is seeking a General Manager to lead a high-energy Potbelly shop. You will drive sales, manage P&L, coach the team, and uphold food safety and guest-service standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You’ll schedule and develop staff, implement local marketing plans, and ensure a positive, inclusive culture while meeting deadlines and labor goals. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this leadership role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as General Manager in restaurant or retail with P&L responsibility preferred
• Must pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification in state
• 18+ years old and able to stand for long hours in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, able to lead teams and manage schedules

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop shop team members to realize potential
• Interview, select and hire great people representing Potbelly values
• Develop and maintain Good Vibes culture and strong team retention
• Schedule Associates, Trainers and Shift Leaders; manage shop floor duty time
• Control cost of goods, inventories, and labor; lead local shop marketing to increase sales
• Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards in food handling and service
• Handle customer complaints and improve service quality
• Perform other duties as assigned
