Job summary

Advanced Hospitality Systems is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for a high-volume restaurant in Boston. The role requires energy, a hands-on approach, and the ability to lead front- and back-of-house teams while upholding our hospitality standards.

You will manage food and beverage execution, labor, and profitability, meet budget targets, and maintain guest relations through our CRM. A background in restaurant ops and a strong financial mindset are essential, with ServeSafe

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership in restaurant operations
• Background in high-volume restaurant management with a hands-on approach
• Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret P&L and reports
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Brink, and 7Shifts POS
• ServeSafe Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including food/beverage execution, service, cost controls, labor, and profitability
• Meet budgeted goals related to revenue, cost of goods, labor and other operating expenses
• Lead weekly profit and loss analysis, inventory, ordering, and production
• Manage weekly labor through staffing projections, scheduling, and labor variance analysis
• Maintain in-house CRM for guest relations, satisfaction, retention, and recovery
• Collaborate with Training Manager on education and training of staff on core policies
• Ensure appearance, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained
• Develop vendor relationships and negotiate terms to optimize cost and quality
