IHOP is seeking a General Manager to lead an assigned unit and direct daily operations. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with guests and staff, implementing IHOP’s training programs, and achieving financial and guest-service objectives.

The GM will recruit and coach employees, ensure food safety, manage inventory and equipment, and ensure adherence to SOPs and regulations while driving guest satisfaction and business results.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; 2–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Certification through IHOP training courses.
• A valid Driver’s License to drive on company business.
• Ability to speak and read English; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and train restaurant staff.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the operation of an assigned IHOP unit.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and guests.
• Implement training programs for hourly employees to improve operations.
• Manage guest service, complaints, and comment cards professionally.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Recruit, train, and retain staff; conduct performance appraisals and coaching.
• Maintain food safety, quality, and SOP adherence.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Complete required reports and paperwork; handle cash control.
