Job summary

Ambrosia QSR in Portland, OR seeks a General Manager to oversee all restaurant operations, guest service, staff engagement, and profitability. This full-time role requires strong leadership, accountability, and the ability to mentor a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will set goals, manage schedules, ensure food safety and compliance, lead training, and coordinate with district leadership to drive performance and growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serv Safe certification preferred or required.
• 2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience.
• Experience with a POS system required.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and development opportunities for the management team and staff.
• Recruit, train, and develop restaurant management and staff.
• Schedule regular team and manager meetings to communicate changes.
• Enforce policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Report incidents to District Manager and HR as needed.
• Foster a safe, inclusive work environment and address harassment or discrimination.
