Ambrosia QSR is seeking a General Manager for a full-time role overseeing all restaurant operations, guest service, and profitability in Salem, OR. The GM will mentor staff, ensure food safety and standards, and drive performance targets with leadership and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Serv Safe training & certificate.
• Prior experience with a POS System.
• 2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and development opportunities for the management team and staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Recruit, train, and develop restaurant management and staff to meet goals.
• Schedule regular team and manager meetings to communicate changes.
• Enforce policies, including compliance with laws and timekeeping; maintain records.
• Report complaints or policy violations to the district manager and resolve issues.
• Foster a safe, inclusive work environment free of harassment.
• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Strive to provide exceptional guest experiences on every visit.
• Walk through the restaurant to check guest experience and safety.
• Stay informed about local market trends and community needs.
• Oversee food safety and safety postings.
• Implement marketing plans and train staff for promotions.
• Use headset to monitor team interactions with guests.
• Address maintenance issues as they arise.
• Manage labor costs with accurate sales projections and schedules.
• Ensure daily food safety compliance and standards.
• Communicate with district manager and operations leaders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure food is prepared fresh to order and recorded in POS.
• Oversee sales transactions and inventory tracking; address inventory concerns.
• Manage controllable expenses and vendor relations.
• Oversee equipment use and maintenance; report problems.
• Supervise cash handling and asset protection compliance.
