Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking an experienced manager to assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and to drive sales and profits through adherence to company policies and performance standards.

You will direct staff to maximize guest satisfaction, ensure proper execution of duties, and maintain a quality work environment. The role requires leadership, hands-on involvement, and a commitment to guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college or degree preferred.
• 1–2 years managerial experience in food service preferred.
• Experience maintaining high guest satisfaction and staff performance in a restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations staffing.
• Ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented according to procedures and health regulations.
• Oversee staffing, training, and performance reviews for dining room personnel.
• Manage payroll, cash handling, and operating expenses; communicate system issues to leadership.
• Maintain inventory control, safety, sanitation, and energy conservation measures.
• Lead unit meetings, set goals with the team, and drive guest satisfaction.
