Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee back of house operations and drive sales and profits while ensuring guest satisfaction and a safe, sanitary work environment.

The position reports to the General Manager and requires leadership to direct staff, implement policies, and maintain high standards across all kitchen functions. Prior managerial experience in food service and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years managerial experience in food service preferred.
• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience leading teams and maintaining guest satisfaction is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage back of house operations to achieve planned sales and profits.
• Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned and presented properly and safely.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost controls for food and non-food items.
• Lead kitchen staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching.
• Attend unit management and regional meetings; present reports as requested.
