Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in the United States seeks a General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and achieve planned sales and profit levels while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include supervising unit management, planning manpower and training, ensuring proper food preparation, maintaining equipment, and managing finances and reporting. A high school diploma (or higher) and 1–2 years of GM experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
• 1-2 years General Manager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises all unit management and indirectly supervises non-exempt employees during restaurant operation.
• Responsible for achieving plan profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Plans and analyzes unit manpower and training of all employees, including management.
• Ensures menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly according to procedures.
• Maintains facility and equipment through preventive maintenance and safety standards.
• Manages inventory and ordering to meet company guidelines and efficiency goals.
• Prepares and reviews financial reports and attends regional meetings.
