SONIC Drive-In in Brookfield, MO is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train and support team members, ensure quality food, cleanliness, and safety, and help guests enjoy a great dining experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure all food service standards are met.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost; makes adjustments as needed.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files and records.
• Reinforces customer service mindset and focuses on serving the customer.
• Responds promptly to guest requests and helps resolve complaints.
