Job summary

SONIC Drive-In Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in running a Sonic Drive-In restaurant, overseeing daily operations, training staff, and ensuring food quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires flexibility with hours, including nights and weekends, and prior restaurant management experience. Training and supporting team members to provide great guest experiences is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Min 6 months of restaurant management (QSR) or 1 year retail management experience.
• Experience running shifts without supervision.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet standards
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control
• Completes weekly inventory as needed
• Assists in administrative duties including records and documentation
• Reinforces customer service and focuses on guest satisfaction
• Responds to guest requests and resolves complaints
