Job summary

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) operates Taco Bell franchise locations. This Assistant General Manager role supports the General Manager in leading shifts, coaching teams, and ensuring operational excellence across daily restaurant duties.

The AGM will focus on safety, training, recruiting, and customer experience, while helping achieve financial goals and maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must pass ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a health card per local/state requirements.
• Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure timely completion of tasks and quality.
• Coach and motivate team members and shift managers for customer focus.
• Uphold OSHA safety standards and health compliance.
• Assist in training and developing potential leaders.
• Support in recruiting and onboarding new hires.
• Aid GM in achieving financial goals and restaurant performance.
• Deliver 5-star customer service and experience.
• Support GM in daily restaurant operations.
