Job summary

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for a Taco Bell restaurant in California. You will support the GM, lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure operations run smoothly while upholding brand standards and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has restaurant leadership experience, a customer-focused mindset, ServSafe certification, and availability for a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must pass ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a current health card per local/state requirements.
• Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable MVR.
• Average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and ensure timely completion of operational tasks with quality assurance.
• Coach and motivate team members and shift managers to prioritize the customer experience.
• Prioritize health and safety, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Participate in training and development, creating leadership development plans and giving feedback.
• Collaborate with the GM to identify staffing needs, interview candidates, and onboard new hires.
• Support the GM in achieving the restaurant's financial goals.
• Provide 5-star service to all customers and maintain high service standards.
• Assist the GM in managing restaurant operations.
