Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a Senior Resort Manager to oversee daily operations and the resort's long-term profitability. You will serve as the primary contact for guests and residents, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction, while directing budgeting, marketing and maintenance tasks.

The role leads leasing and sales for homes, ensures compliance with fair housing and employment laws, and collaborates with the Regional VP on strategy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 6 months in Previous sales and leasing experience (Preferred).
• 6 months in Property management/resort experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience (Required).
• General knowledge of property maintenance.
• Ability to live on-site within the resort (housing provided), if applicable.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure exceptional service for guests and residents.
• Lead administrative functions, budgeting, marketing and property maintenance.
• Manage rent collection, postings, and ensure debt collection processes.
• Oversee lease renewals and increases with timely notices.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing and employment laws.
• Supervise team recruitment, development, and policy adherence.
• Review residency applications and approve/deny as needed.
• Maintain resort appearance and curb appeal standards.
• Monitor invoices for operating expenses and sales costs.
• Collaborate with RVP on strategy and budgets.
• Balance RV income nightly and oversee renovations of homes.
• Market models, pre-owned and brokered homes for sale.
• Prepare capital expenditure plans and P&L variance analyses.
