Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Resort Operations in Heber-Overgaard, AZ. You will oversee daily operations across Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Maintenance while partnering with the General Manager to manage budgets and audits.

You will lead by example, coach teams, and implement process improvements to enhance guest experiences and financial performance. A background in hotel or vacation ownership management is required, with 3–5 years of leadership

Qualifications

• Proven strong leadership ability.
• Understand and apply management approaches for work direction, motivation, performance, and discipline.
• Working knowledge of Housekeeping, Front Desk, Maintenance, F&B.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 3-5 years of property, vacation ownership, or hotel management experience.
• Experience with HOA standards and board meeting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all resort departments including Guest Services, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
• Manage and support financial aspects of the resort and annual operating budgets.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure quality, internal controls, and loss prevention standards.
• Identify process improvements and drive strategic goals; coach and develop staff.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to manage employee relations and training.
