Job summary

Hotel Management and Consulting, Inc. in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager and drive service excellence.

You will supervise staff, manage daily financials, and address guest needs with a focus on high standards. You will coordinate housekeeping, inspect rooms, and network with local partners to promote the property.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel leadership including front desk and back-of-house operations.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to work a changing schedule.
• Proactive in solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations in the absence of the General Manager and guide the team to exceed service standards.
• Post checks in PMS, complete weekly labor tracker, and manage payment/receipts.
• Maintain guest readiness by addressing concerns and monitoring feedback.
• Coordinate housekeeping and inspect rooms with GM.
• Network locally to promote the property and build client relationships.
• Assist with sales/marketing initiatives to increase occupancy.
• Cover shifts as needed to ensure operational continuity.
