Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring an Assistant General Manager for Resort Operations in Florida to lead daily resort operations, including Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. The role ensures quality, audits, and financial controls while maintaining positive relationships with guests, staff, vendors and board members.

Qualifications

• Proven strong leadership ability.
• Demonstrate understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management and disciplinary action.
• Working Knowledge of Housekeeping, Front Desk, Maintenance, F&B departments.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
• 3-5 years of property, vacation ownership, or hotel management experience required with mixed discipline.
• Exhibit working knowledge of standards and documents for HOA, understand governing statutes and board meeting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of all resort departments including Guest Services, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
• Perform audits and inspections to ensure quality, internal and loss prevention standards.
• Manage and support financial aspects of the resort, including annual operating budgets and expense analysis.
• Work with corporate accounting to prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and explain impacts on revenue, profit, and expenses.
• Collaborate with HOA relationships and ensure compliance with internal audit standards.
