Job summary

Open Arms Care seeks an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead residential program operations in a group home setting. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, coordinate care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and families.

Collaborate with the Program Manager and Site Nurse to plan weekly activities and site improvements, supporting client growth and staff development within the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in ID/DD field with direct client support.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory/management roles.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• PCM certification within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management and organization.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and related software.

Responsibilities

• Represent OAC professionally at community events.
• Assist in hiring, selection and placement to secure best-qualified applicants.
• Foster a supportive, collaborative work environment for all employees.
• Communicate and follow through with plans of care to work teams on site.
• Weekly update of supply inventories.
• Alternate on-call responsibilities including weekend supervisor visits.
• Manage budgets, payroll, scheduling, performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Ensure a safe and clean living/working environment per safety standards.
• Attend Safety Committee and Incident Management Meetings and follow up as needed.
• Ensure documentation accuracy (bed checks, shift notes) and drive improvements.
• Participate in site and operational meetings addressing client/staff needs.
• Liaise with parents/guardians when necessary.
• Plan weekly with Program Manager and Site Nurse for holistic client support.
• Maintain activity calendar and community integration for clients.
• Provide coverage for other site(s) as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
