ADT is a leading security provider seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, and program existing security and site automation solutions. The role emphasizes customer service and technical aptitude, with responsibilities spanning fire safety systems, video/networking, and access control.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, a willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and a valid drivers license, plus a High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Services fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.
• Provide customer-focused service and explain home protection features.
• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
• Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Read blueprints, building and electrical plans to complete equipment repairs.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections.
