Job summary

ADT Security Services is hiring a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program existing security and site automation solutions. You will service fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control, ensuring proper operation through testing with central monitoring.

The role requires reading blueprints and electrical plans, coordinating inspections, and maintaining clear communication with customers and the support

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read building electrical and sprinkler plans for equipment trouble.
• Physical requirements: standing, stooping, lifting, climbing and crawling.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program existing security and site automation solutions.
• Service fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with relevant authorities as needed.
• Communicate status of systems to customers and the care center.
