Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program existing security and site automation solutions for our customers. You will service fire and CO detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control, ensuring systems are tested and connected to central monitoring.

Your role includes reading blueprints and electrical plans to locate and repair equipment, coordinate inspections, and maintain high-quality service standards while

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills.
Able to read building electrical and sprinkler plans as required for clearing equipment trouble.
Standing, stooping, lifting ,climbing ,crawling
Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
Read blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs.
Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
