Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure and program security and site automation solutions at customers' homes or businesses. You will diagnose issues, test signals, and ensure reliable protection in living and working spaces.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication, and a valid driver’s license. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, visiting customer sites and delivering solutions that protect lives and valuables.

Qualifications

• Experience in service roles in home security or related field.
• Technical aptitude with electronics or networking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Services fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.
• A customer service champion, demonstrating the willingness to help our customers fix as well as understand the protection in their home.
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, working closely with customers and coworkers.
• Visit customers at their homes or businesses to provide solutions.
