Job summary

ADT's Residential Service Technician role focuses on troubleshooting, configuring, reconstructing and programming existing security and site automation solutions for homes and small businesses. You will service fire and CO detection, networking, hosted video and access control, test signals with central monitoring, and provide customer-focused solutions in a dynamic, collaborative environment, visiting customers at their premises.

Valid driver's license and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Service experience with customers and installations.
• Strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting and configuration.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service mindset.
• Reliable and able to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Services fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.
• A customer service champion, demonstrating willingness to help our customers fix and understand protection at home.
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, closely with customers and coworkers.
• Provide solutions by visiting customers at their homes or businesses.
