Job summary

ADT Residential Service Technician role focusing on troubleshooting, configuring, and programming existing security and site automation solutions. You will service fire and CO detection, networking, hosted video, and access control while following wired/wireless procedures to ensure system integrity.

The position requires customer-focused attitude, strong communication, problem solving, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Read electrical plans and sprinkler plans as required for renovations or trouble clearance.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
• Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Read blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
