Job summary

Greystar seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for Leigh House in Raleigh, NC. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and functional.

The role requires diagnosing defects, completing work orders, assisting with make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory control, and documentation. Strong safety awareness and EPA refrigerant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspection and punch list, scheduling vendors and completing tasks.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and common areas, including trash pickup, cleaning, and painting curbs.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
