Job summary

Greystar in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property's physical standards. You will diagnose and repair equipment, complete work orders, and perform make-ready tasks for vacant apartments to support leasing activity.

You will also maintain grounds and common areas, manage inventory, and document work accurately to help safety and operations. The role requires on-call flexibility, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver's license for property access.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to perform make-ready tasks for vacant units.
• Familiarity with safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and resident service requests with diagnosis and repair.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and inspects for leasing readiness.
• Manages materials, tools, and inventories; tracks usage and reorders as needed.
• Documents work completed for accurate records and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists in painting and cleaning.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
