Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property buildings and common areas meet safety, cleanliness and functional standards. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and assist with make-ready of vacant units to support leasing activity.

The role requires on-site presence Monday–Friday with rotating on-call; EPA refrigerant certification and a valid driver’s license are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance and repair skills on residential properties.
• EPA refrigerant certification is required for applicable roles.
• Valid driver's license required to operate company vehicles/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing.
• Inventory management and requisition of supplies.
• Document service work promptly and accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-control by proper use of parts and materials.
