Job summary

Asset Living in Old Hickory, TN seeks a Maintenance Technician to support ground-keeping and building maintenance across our community. You will perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Daily duties include responding to resident requests, assisting with make-ready, pool maintenance, inventory tracking, and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform on-site software functions and basic computer skills.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work.
• Handle make-ready process under supervision.
• Respond to resident requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and perform pool maintenance.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Assist with inventory and safety programs.
• Participate in on-call emergency coverage.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and policies are followed.
• Communicate with residents to uphold a positive image.
