Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high-quality maintenance in our single-family rental homes while delivering outstanding customer service to residents. You will handle multiple trades, perform proactive checks, and coordinate follow-up visits using the maintenance app.

Requirements include 2–5+ years in residential repairs, OSHA 10, EPA/HVAC certifications preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 required; new hires have up to 90 days to complete if not certified
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; multilingual is a plus
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds and use maintenance tools

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service requests across multiple trades in single-family homes
• Provide excellent customer service and promote quality living experiences for residents
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs during ProCare visits
• Educate residents on apartment responsibilities and system operations
• Respond to repairs in vacant properties during turnover
• Adhere to safety guidelines and proper use of tools and vehicles
• Review upcoming appointments to ensure readiness for a single-visit completion
