Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high‑quality maintenance in our single‑family rental homes while delivering outstanding resident service.

You will complete multi‑trade service requests, educate residents on home systems, perform proactive ProCare visits, and support property management with timely repairs. A high school diploma, 2–5+ years of experience, OSHA 10, and a valid driver’s license are preferred; EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5+ years in residential repairs and maintenance.
• OSHA 10 required; 90 days to complete if not certified.
• EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications are a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; multilingual a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work regular hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience.
• Perform work with respect for residents’ homes.
• Complete ProCare visits and schedule next visits.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
• Review and use technician reports to identify improvements.
• Perform repairs in vacant properties during turnover or on the market.
