Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform multi-trade repairs and proactive upkeep in resident homes. You will use mobile apps for visits, coordinate with residents, and ensure timely, quality workmanship across many systems.

Responsibilities include inspections, turnover work, and educating residents about home systems. OSHA 10 required; HVAC, EPA, and pool certifications are a plus. This is a full-time role with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years' experience in residential repairs/maintenance or related.
• OSHA 10 required (90 days to complete if not certified).
• EPA Type I/II/Universal certification is a plus.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• CPO certification (pool) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote quality living for residents.
• Perform repairs ensuring safety and respect for residents' homes.
• Conduct ProCare visits and proactive maintenance in residents' homes.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and system functionality.
• Review reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support turnover repairs in vacant properties.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use company tools responsibly.
