Job summary

Invitation Homes in Minneapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high-quality maintenance in our single-family rental homes while delivering outstanding resident service. You will handle multiple trades and proactive ProCare visits.

The role requires 2–5+ years of residential repair experience, OSHA 10, EPA HVAC certifications, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll use mobile apps and safety guidelines, collaborating with the property team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2–5+ years of residential repairs/maintenance.
• OSHA 10 certification required; new hires have up to 90 days to complete it.
• EPA HVAC Type I/II/Universal certifications preferred.
• CPO certification (pool) a plus.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote quality living for residents.
• Complete ProCare visits and proactive maintenance and repairs.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
• Perform repairs in vacant properties during turns.
• Review technician reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use company tools and vehicles.
