Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high-quality maintenance across multiple trades in our single-family rental homes. You will deliver outstanding customer service to residents and complete proactive maintenance tasks using a mobile app and company tools.

The role requires 2–5+ years of repair experience, OSHA 10, and strong communication skills. Candidates should be able to lift 50+ pounds, drive with insurance, and work weekends/holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5+ years’ proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance.
• OSHA 10 certification required (90 days for new hires).
• EPA Certification: Type I, Type II, and/or EPA Universal; HVAC and CPO certifications are a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; multilingual a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance; state licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service requests across multiple trades in single-family homes.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience for all residents.
• Complete ProCare visits, and schedule the next visit with residents via the maintenance app.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
• Complete property condition assessments and alert management to issues.
• Perform repairs in vacant properties during turns; use company tools and vehicles properly.
• Review next day’s appointments to ensure proper equipment and time for a single visit.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines; perform other duties as assigned.
