Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Seattle to perform high-quality maintenance in our single-family rental homes while delivering outstanding resident service.

Responsibilities include completing maintenance requests across multiple trades, educating residents on home systems, and conducting proactive visits using our maintenance app. A valid driver’s license, 2–5+ years in residential maintenance, OSHA 10, and HVAC/CPO certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2–5+ years’ residential repairs/maintenance experience.
• OSHA 10 required; EPA Type I/II/Universal HVAC certs a plus; CPO certification (pool) advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; multi-lingual a plus; comfortable with mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide outstanding customer service and promote quality living for residents.
• Demonstrate care for residents’ homes; complete proactive maintenance visits.
• Complete checklists in the mobile app; schedule follow-up visits.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
