Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform high-quality maintenance in our single-family rental homes while delivering outstanding customer service to residents. The role includes completing maintenance requests across multiple trades, educating residents on home systems, and proactively identifying repair opportunities within a single visit.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 2–5+ years of residential maintenance experience, and OSHA 10 certification

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years’ proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance, other building maintenance or related experience.
• OSHA 10 is required (new hires will have up to 90 days to complete OSHA 10 certification if not already certified).
• The following certifications are a plus: EPA Certification, HVAC Certification, CPO certification (pool).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality maintenance work in single-family rental homes.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
• Complete ProCare visits and related checklists in the maintenance app.
• Use and care for company-supplied tools and vehicles.
• Coordinate with residents and property management for timely repairs.
