Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high-quality repairs across multiple trades in single-family rental homes. You will deliver outstanding customer service and promote a quality living experience for residents while using mobile apps to document ProCare visits and schedule next steps.

The role requires 2–5+ years in residential repairs, OSHA 10, and preferrable EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications; strong communication, a valid license, and ability to lift 50+ lbs are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5+ years in residential repairs or maintenance.
• OSHA 10 required; up to 90 days to obtain if needed.
• EPA Type I/II/Universal, HVAC, and CPO certifications are a plus.
• Excellent customer service and strong verbal/written communication; multilingual a plus.
• Comfort with mobile devices (iPad/iPhone) and maintenance apps.
• Knowledge of residential construction and mechanical systems; basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance as required.
• Ability to work regularly including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate standard maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality maintenance across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent resident service and promote quality living.
• Complete ProCare visits and record in the mobile app.
• Inspect properties and report issues to management.
• Coordinate with property management and schedule next visits.
• Perform repairs in vacant homes during turns.
• Maintain and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Review upcoming day appointments and ensure essentials are ready.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
