Job summary

Invitation Homes is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to perform high-quality maintenance in our single-family rental homes and deliver outstanding resident service. You will handle multiple trades, follow safety guidelines, and use mobile apps to manage ProCare visits.

The role requires a high school diploma, OSHA 10, and a valid driver's license, with HVAC or EPA certifications a plus. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10 certification required within 90 days if not yet certified.
• EPA certification and HVAC certification are a plus.
• Good customer service and communication skills; multilingual a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote quality living.
• Perform work with respect for residents' homes.
• Complete ProCare visits via the maintenance mobile app.
• Schedule the next ProCare visit with the resident through the app.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
• Perform property condition assessments and alert management of urgent items.
• Review technician reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform repairs in vacant properties during turnover or market.
• Use and care for company-supplied tools, materials, and vehicles.
• Plan daily to ensure work can be completed in a single visit.
